Soophisticated_Granola11Soophisticated_Granola2 Soophisticated_Granola3 Soophisticated_GranolaSuch a gooood start of the day: granola with yoghurt and fresh fruit! But when you buy granola (or cruesli or muesli) in the supermarket, you’ll find a lot of added sugars and extra’s. And we don’t want that! So it’s a way healthier to make your own! And also super super delicious! Here is my recipe I always use!

You’ll need:
✚  100 grams of rolled oats
✚  100 grams of oat flakes
✚  100 grams of nuts (choose any you like, like walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds or pecan nuts)
✚  4 tablespoons of maple syrup (or honey or any other sweetner)
✚  Optional addings: dates or dried fruit, cinnamon, cacao nibs.. go crazy!

Mix it up!
✚  It’s as easy as it can get: stir all the ingredients in a bowl until you have a good mix.
✚  Spread the mixture evenly over an oven plate.
✚  Place it in a preheated oven (150° degrees) for 25 minutes. Check every 7 or 10 minutes to stir the granola using a spoon. This will prevent it from burning. When the granola is golden-brown you know it’s ready!
✚  Done! Let it cool down for a bit before pouring your granola in a glass pot or jar.

Hope you like it just as much as I do! Do you also make your own granola? Love love love to hear if you do and what your favorite recipe is!
