What not to tell about Berlin? After wandering around this amazing city the past five days I haven’t seen everything at all. That’s even an understatement. From typical touristic attractions like the Berlin wall (photo 1) and the impressive holocaust monument (photo 5 & 9), to local foodmarkets (photo 2) and amazing hidden shops in narrow streets (photo 8 – amazing store!!). Whenever I asked someone advise on places to visit, they’d answer: there is too much to tell! And that’s correct. Every district has it’s own great vibe. My favorite districts were Prenzlauer Berg and Kreuzberg. This is based on places I went to, I’m sure there is more which I haven’t seen yet. Shopping wise you can’t go wrong in Berlin. Mainstreet shopping? Visit kurfürstenstraße for COS, Zara, H&M, &OtherStories, UrbanOutfitters etc. Vintage-, Interior-, Scandinavian style shopping? Visit Kreuzberg! (around Oranienstraße). And the Kastanienallee in Prenzlauer Berg for young and trendy labels. Of course there are a lot of touristic attractions in a city like Berlin. We visited the Jewish museum, Holocaust monument which is very impressive. Want to have a great view on Berlin? Make an appointment at the Reichstag, on which you have the best view!  We were lucky to visit while the Festival of Lights took place in Berlin (photo 10). If any of you is visiting Berlin in the near future and has questions about specific districts and places, please ask them in the comment box below!
